I'm on a mission for the best pastrami pizza, been to five different places. Downey Pizza Company the best so far. Pickles and mustard is not overwhelming and thinley sliced pastrami mmmmm good

Amazing pastrami pizza. You have to try it before you die.

Place was very busy for take out on a Sat night but there were a couple booths open and they cleaned one when we got there for us. Staff was friendly place was clean but ambience was meh. Wings were good and so was the pizza. The cheese and toppings were bland. The bread was good though. They passed our table hastily a few times while I had an empty water cup and needed service.

The pastrami pizza is AMAZING! The crust is perfectly fluffy with just the right amount of crunch. The pastrami is not too salty and sliced just thin enough. Mustard and pickles on a pizza?!? Delicious!

Great place for lunch. I definitely recommend their pastrami pizza. It is a concoction of a cheese pizza topped with thinly sliced pastrami, pickles and mustard. Yes, it may sound odd but the combination is delicious...if you like pizza and a pastrami sandwich at the same time.

Fantastic food, very friendly staff, consistently fantastic vibes. They charge affordable prices and the food quality is very good. Kudos.

Came across this place on accident with my family. The pizza is more than amazing and HUGE! Two pizza fed my family of 5 due to the size. If you have a designated driver, they have a decent selection of adult drinks. The atmosphere is great, but dated. Feels like walking into a old bar in a 90's movie haha! That's not a bad thing either !

I've lived nearby for years and it was our first visit. Even though it was pouring rain outside, the restaurant was full. We could see why. Their food is beyond delicious. We started out with seasoned potato wedges, they were nice and hot right out of the oven. The seasoning was flavorful and there was a small crisp with each bite. We ordered a medium pizza. Half Italian sausage, half mushroom and green peppers! When we lifted the first slice, the cheese was slowly stretching to gooey goodness! The crust had a great crunch and softness to it. For dessert we had to try their home made tiramisu. Totally worth it.

We went to this place because my daughter kept taking about it. At first I was like “hmmmm” but when we went to eat I found out it was amazing!!! If I could give them 6-Stars I would. If there was one thing I would like to see change is the price they charge for the toppings. I would have rated them a 5-star if I didn’t have to pay for the toppings. It turned that awesome regular price into a lot once I finished adding the toppings.

Had a great time. Eyes were pigger than our stomachs and had to bring food home. Sounds like a breakfast of champions tomorrow lol.

Pizza 🍕 was every bit as good as previous visits has set as standard quality. My guests ordered a sandwich which rose to the same high quality he felt comfortable ordering another to go that arrived faster than first did of equal quality. I frequent the pizza parlor every possible time I come to Los Angeles area to visit friends.

Was working nearby and one of my colleagues recommended I try the best pizza place in Downey. It definitely lived up to its reputation as this was my first time try the famous pastrami pizza. We ordered a medium sized but looking back we should have ordered a larger to have more to enjoy. Will make it a definite destination when in the area.

The pastrami thin crust pizza is delicious. The wings are below average. The place looks old, but A.C was nice and cool. I'm definitely coming back for that pizza!

Second time here. I had to come back. Pizza is my favorite food and I am picky when it comes to pizza. Wings are delicious and their pastrami pizza is surprisingly amazing. I not a fan of mustard but the do a great job of blending it with the pizza.@raulvsfood

They have the best pastrami pizza! We actually enjoyed all the other pizzas and my family enjoyed the sandwiches and they're fresh salads. We always receive great service here.

A very busy place and ofcourse the reason behind it because they have the BEST pastrami pizza in LA County ( in my opinion 😁). Gotta try it!!

My coworkers convinced me to try this place. They said they were all blown away by just how surprisingly good that pastrami pizza really is. It sounds like a date when you read what is on it. Then you taste it like, oh wow, they are onto something. It’s good for real! The other menu items are also good as expected but you should really just grab a small one to split if you just want to try the pastrami. I wish I could find it where I’m from. The flavors really work.

While best known for their pastrami pizza, my family and I have not had anything here we don't love. The staff is always awesome. We have a large family and always seem to be in Mimi's section, love her!

This restaurant is absolutely one of the most pleasant restaurants in the region. Always when I come there I am truly satisfied. They hold their very high level service and the topmost level of cooking they give. You are always happy with this place. Very recommended.

I love this restaurant. It's the perfect pizza restaurant. And yes I do mean restaurant. Even from the outside of the restaurant, you can tell it's not your average pizza place. As I walked in, to my left was a dining area and to my right was the bar and extra dining seats. I loved that part the most. Pizza and alcohol!!! It had me hooked before even biting into my pizza. The pizza was excellent. Easily a 10/10. Tons of options, very unique choices and definitely always a game winner, the pastrami pizza!!!!.

The SO and I were so excited to try this spot out. We had seen some posts about the pastrami pizza and absolutely had to try that. Parking was a little hard to find but follow the Google Maps instructions... once inside, the service was quick and incredibly friendly! We had such a good time with our waitress. We got some tap beer, an order of wings and a large pizza, half pastrami, half carnitas. The beer was cold, the wings were well sauced and meaty. Let me tell you though, that pizza! The crust was perfection, and each flavor profile was perfectly balanced. Pastrami, pickles, mustard and cheese and then carnitas, onions, cilantro and avocado slices with cheese. Seriously, you gotta experience this pizza, I'm enamored. Plus, it's across the way from the original McD's where they serve the deep fried apple pie... perfect for dessert!

Great value for the prices. It was surprisingly busy for an early Sunday evening. We did have a large party, 16 (8 adults, eight children) we did have to wait a while for a table. The waitress was a bit overwhelmed with all the customers. Service was mediocre at best. The pizza was good. The Pizookie dessert was good.
